From a small age, performance has been his dole, always yearning to present himself in front of a crowd and embodying a character of sorts. Born in Paris but raised in Singapore, he was fortunate enough to have learned English where he can now allure his audience in both languages. He received his training (and much-needed discipline) at the Lasalle College of the Arts, where he truly found his colors as an actor and has flourished ever since.
Lecat has already reveled the stage in many different ways. Donning the mad crown as Macbeth, cross-dressing in Top Girls, clowning in Scorched and breaking the fourth wall in Revolutionary Plays 2.0. He can safely say he has stapled his name in Singapore. In Melbourne, he's contributed to the theatre with A Midsummer Nights Dream (GJ Productions), Box and Cox (Maniacal Arts) and The Vibrator Play (The Brighton Theatre Company, directed by Natasha Boyd) and wowed critics with his interpretation of Tony in the cult classic Beautiful Thing at Chapel off Chapel (North-by-South Theatre Company).
He returns to Singapore temporarily before heading off to Vancouver to further his craft in film at New Image College where he hopes to pierce the screens and hearts of more people with his unique signature, sense of humor and mediocre looks.
