This charming tale is presented in 2 timelines, 1990s and the present 2024.
Our protagonist, Ming as an inquisitive boy with a knack for losing his way home in the 90s and as a working-class adult in present.
And his mother, a woman with a tough exterior but a tender heart, who is determined to guide her son home.
We see their journey through the vibrant neighbourhood, the tight-knit and diverse community around them - juxtaposing it with modernisation efforts in the present.
