Casting for a Year 3 Film Major Project

Hi all, we are a group of Year 3 students in Temasek Polytechnic who are looking for the following talents to cast in our major project.

Story Synopsis:
When it comes to preserving heritage, Josephine is unwavering in keeping her late husband’s Peranakan traditions alive. But when her once peaceful life gets disrupted as her home is marked as a target for demolition, she is determined to ensure the survival of her house — not knowing that the biggest thing standing in her way is her own son, Anthony, who urges her to embrace modernity and move on. As her home begins to fall apart, it forces the mother-son duo to set aside their opposing views in a battle between heritage and progress. But at what point, does Josephine need to let go?

Casting Period: Mid October - End of November
Shoot Date: Early December (TBC)

We are looking for the following main roles:
JOSEPHINE - 40s to mid 50s, Chinese (housewife, cook)
ANTHONY - late 20s to mid 30s, Chinese (son, businessman)
JONATHAN - 30s to mid 40s, Chinese (husband, breadwinner)
SUPERVISOR - Mid 30s-40s, Asian (Construction worker)

Extra roles required:
YOUNG ANTHONY - 14, Chinese (son)
CONSTRUCTION WORKERS - Late 20s and above, Asian male (non speaking role)
