Hello! We are a group of final year students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, casting for our SG60 short film.

Logline: CTRL-Z is about a 19 year old, trapped in a relentless cycle of the eldest daughter syndrome, she finds herself stuck in a time loop. As she tests its boundaries, she is forced to confront her role as the family’s “second mother” and make a tough decision — to continue sacrificing herself or finally put herself first

Filming Dates: around week of 21st April - week of 28th April

Roles:

1. Audrey (Lead)
Female, 18–22 years old, Chinese or Malay
A responsible, overburdened eldest daughter navigating school, work, and caring for her siblings. Sarcastic, exhausted, and slowly unraveling.

2. Mother (Lead)
Female, 40–50 years old, Chinese or Malay
Single mom. traditional lion mom who verbally abuses Audrey

3. Zachary (Supporting)
Male, 9–12 years old, Chinese or Malay
Audrey’s younger brother. Complains a lot but looks up to his sister. A mix of cheeky and innocent.

4. Skyler (Supporting)
Male, 7–9 years old, Chinese or Malay
The youngest sibling. Curious, sweet, and attached to Audrey.

5. Joshua (Supporting)
Male, 20–24 years old, Chinese or Malay
Audrey’s older brother. Lazy, self-absorbed, and glued to video games. Thinks he’s the king of the house but avoids responsibility
