1. Caiden Leong (Male, 8–10, Chinese)
Lead Role: Bright, gentle, artistic Primary 3 student. Sensitive, expressive eyes, able to portray emotional vulnerability.
Traits: Soft-spoken, obedient, imaginative. Must be able to act in emotional scenes.

2. Natasha Wong (Female, 8–10, Chinese / Mixed Race)
Supporting Lead: Caiden’s best friend. Cheerful, warm, free-spirited. Comes from a humble background.
Traits: Natural, friendly energy. Able to show empathy and childlike joy.

3. Bryan Tan (Male, 8–10, any race)
Supporting Lead: Fellow classmate. Friendly, excitable yet rough at times. Traits: Able to show both the innocence and insensitivity of children of that age.

4. James Leong (Male, 30s, Chinese)
Supporting Role: Caiden’s father. Authoritative, image-conscious, prideful. Believes success = status.
Traits: Ability to portray anger, pressure, and later deep remorse.

5. Ann Leong (Female, 30s, Chinese)
Supporting Role: Caiden’s mother. A perfectionist “tiger mum” driven by insecurity and social comparison.
Traits: Strong emotional range – control, fear, denial, breakdown.

6. Wong Siew Hong (Female, late 30s–40s, Chinese / other race)
Supporting Role: Natasha’s hardworking single mother. Warm, grounded, resilient.
Traits: Authentic maternal energy. Strong emotional presence.

7. Mrs Tan (Female, 30s, any race)
Supporting Role: Caiden’s empathetic form teacher. Observant and gentle but firm. Bryan’s older sister.
Traits: Must deliver emotionally strong dialogue in confrontation scenes.
