Short Film CASTING CALL - Lead and Supporting Roles

We are a group of students who are currently working on an independent student short film looking for passionate actors to play a role in an upcoming short film, THEN WHY?
Here are the details:
Lead role - Young Musician:
Role description: A young musician who is struggling with a personal and family conflict, eventually confronting their emotions and rediscovering their passion for music.
Gender: Open to male or female performers.
Age range: 10 - 21 years old
Tentative filming date (Flexible to talent's schedule): 4 days, between 9 and 16 Oct.
Currently planned for 10 - 13 Oct, may be subject to minor changes, depending on cast availability.
Experience: Talents of all experience are welcome!
Additional skill required: Ability to play an instrument, preferably string instruments e.g. violin, viola. Other instruments are also welcomed.
Monetary compensation can be arranged and negotiated depending on talent and availability.
Parent/Guardian consent will be required for talents under 18.
Supporting Role - Mother:
Role description: A mother of a young musician, as she tries her best to reignite her child’s passion for music.
Gender: Female
Age range: 35 to 55
Tentative filming date (Flexible to talent's schedule): 4 days, between 9 and 16 Oct.
Currently planned for 10 - 13 Oct, may be subject to minor changes, depending on cast availability.
Experience: Talents of all experience are welcome!
Note: Should be comfortable with a minor stunt, e.g. falling over. Safety precautions will be in place.
Supporting Role - Father:
Role description: The father of the young musician, cold-hearted and unsupportive of his son’s ambitions and the mother's support until he has a change of heart.
Gender: Male
Age range: 35 to 55
Tentative filming date (Flexible to talent's schedule): 4 days, between 9 and 16 Oct. Not needed for all 4 shoot days.
Currently planned for 10 - 13 Oct, may be subject to minor changes, depending on cast availability.
