Hi everyone! My name is Sachi, and I'm a film student in the School of Art, Design and Media at NTU, currently looking for 2 actors for my Film Directing class assignment.
I'm directing an adapted scene from Scenes from a Marriage by Ingmar Bergman. This is a dialogue-driven, dramatic scene exploring marriage, intimacy and emotional conflict.
ROLES AVAILABLE
JOHAN
(Male, 30s–40s, Caucasian): A husband who has decided to leave his marriage but struggles with conflicting feelings of love, guilt and the desire for freedom.
MARIANNE
(Female, 30s–40s, Person of Colour/any race): A wife trying to understand her husband's decision and hold onto their relationship as it begins to fall apart.
Location: Singapore
Commitment: 1 day of rehearsal + 1 day of shooting (tentative dates the 2th & 5th of november)
Compensation: Low-paid student production (details to be discussed)
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous acting experience preferred
- Comfortable performing emotionally nuanced, dialogue-heavy scenes
- Reliable and available for both rehearsal and shoot dates
