What if the perfect world was humanity’s greatest prison?

Superintel Films is casting talented female performers for an ambitious, original science-fiction feature set in 2058, where the boundaries between human consciousness, artificial intelligence and reality begin to unravel.

Adapted from a published science-fiction novel, DEFQUANT is being developed as a cinematic universe with international ambitions, combining emotionally powerful storytelling, futuristic environments and innovative filmmaking techniques.

The feature is currently in post-production, with selected live-action and hybrid cinematic sequences being developed.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking female performers, approximately 22–40 years old, with compelling screen presence, emotional depth and the ability to portray complex characters.

We particularly welcome performers who can convey vulnerability, intelligence, determination and emotional intensity through subtle expressions and natural performances.

Ideal candidates may have experience in film, theatre, commercial acting or independent productions. Emerging talent with strong potential is equally welcome.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Selected performers may collaborate on professionally developed cinematic sequences involving live-action performance, dialogue, character development and hybrid visual production.

We are particularly interested in discovering performers who could grow with an original international science-fiction property as it develops into future productions.

Our creative ambition is to deliver the visual scale and emotional storytelling associated with major international science-fiction cinema, while embracing emerging filmmaking technology.

AUDITION PROCESS

Shortlisted applicants may be invited to an introductory conversation or virtual audition. Further character information and selected script excerpts will be shared privately.

Production arrangements, compensation, credits and usage rights will be discussed and agreed before engagement. Any AI-assisted use of a performer’s likeness or voice will require explicit consent.
