The roles:

1) Faruk, 50s

A stylist, determined, calm headed Indian man.

2) Sheikh, early-mid 30s

Faruk's father, generous textile merchant back in 1965

3) Hisham, mid 60s

Jovial & humble malay businessman

4) Young Hisham, 13 yrs old

Poor shoe shine boy during 1965

5) Mariam, late 70s

Faruk's mother whose dying wish is to find Sheikh's grave

6) Young Mariam, mid-late 20s

Great support of husband (Sheikh)

7) Amir, 7 - 10 yrs old

Faruk's son, curious about his family's life story

8) Ah Teck, late 60s

Kind coffeeshop uncle

Other requirements:

Preferably looking for English and Tamil speaking talents for Faruk, Sheikh, Mariam and Amir.

Preferably looking for English and Malay speaking talents for Hisham.
