CASTING CALL FOR FYP NARRATIVE SHORT FILM: “AIDEN”


Aiden is a fantastical drama about a young boy forging his own path against his tiger mother's wishes.

The final short film is estimated to be about 20 minutes long.


Auditions: 30 Oct to 1 Nov

Shooting: 9 Dec to 13 Dec (tentatively)

*Please note that there are overnight shoots*

Roles:

Ah Gong (experience preferred)
- Age; late 50s and above
- Gender; male
- A magical shadow puppeteer who travels the world to share his stories with children

Aiden (experience preferred)
- Age; 9
- Gender; male
- Race; chinese
- An intelligent and curious only child with a suffocated childhood

Mummy
- Age; Late 30s
- Gender; Female
- Race; Chinese
- An unaffectionate mother who will do anything to make sure that her son has a bright and steady future
