PAID: Casting call for a short film 'Tomorrow'

Men and women 17 - 20 Years old, All regions

The short film is a coming-of-age drama that features a teenage couple, a Chinese girl and a Malay boy, who must overcome interferences from their parents in order to stay together. Amid the pressures from their parents, their own differences threaten to tear them apart.
This film is an exploration of love between two young people at an age, where it is simple and unsophisticated. The boundaries placed upon such young people by their parents and sometimes even the society at large can often seem to them unreasonable and even downright cruel. This film is about capturing those emotions.

Characters Needed:
1. Grace
– 17 (on-screen age)
- Chinese
- Bright and cheerful
- Headstrong
- Secretly rebellious

2. Zul
– 17 (on-screen age)
- Malay
- Studious and diligent
- Responsible but somewhat naïve

Important Dates:
Actors are required to be present on days of rehearsals in December (dates to be confirmed)
Actual shoot: five-day shoot tentatively between 12-18th January
