Project Type: One Dash 22 is casting talents for lead & supporting roles in a narrative series, inspired by real-life bizarre and quirky heartland stories we may have heard about.

Episode 1

Character #1: Ah Bee (Lead)

- Description: Comes across as a typical Singaporean aunty but with a feisty and quirky character. She plays by her own rules and even hands out her own forms of justice at times.

- Gender: Female

- Screen age: 60s - 70s

- Race: Chinese

- Language spoken: English, Mandarin, Dialect (whichever dialect talent is comfortable with)

Character #2: Tien (Lead)

- Description: She is a migrant worker who recently moved over from her rural village in Vietnam, in search for a better life in Singapore.

- Gender: Female

- Screen age: 16 - 18 years old

- Race: Vietnamese

- Language spoken: Vietnamese, Mandarin, English

Character #3: Ah Ping (Supporting)

- Description: English-educated Ah Beng, who also works as a runner for his loan shark bosses. Although he operates in a morally grey area, Ah Ping makes it a point to help those in need, and to only pick fights with those who seem like they can handle it.

Episode 2

Character #2: Tien (Lead)

- Description: In this episode, the story arc moves over to Tien, as she schemes and hustles to earn money in Singapore.

Episode 3

Character #4: Lim (Lead)

- Description: Millenial, working in a dead-end job, he is unable to find any meaning in his existence. He passes through life without knowing what his purpose is, feeling lost and uncertain.

- Race: Chinese

- Language spoken: English

Episode 4

Character #5: Mary (Lead)

- Description: Mary is a young lady suffering from an incurable illness and has turned to growing special “magical” flowers, that help with her own pain. She gives them to the elderly people around her block who are suffering from aches and pains, to help make their final days a bit more bearable.

- Gender: Female

- Screen age: mid 20s - mid 30s

- Race: Any race

- Language spoken: English, Dialect (a plus if talent is able to converse in dialect)
