Void Deck Games is looking for actors for a mixed reality experience.

Adventures of the Temporal Displacement Agency casts five audience members as time-travellers sent to alter history to further the country’s national interests by crashing a wedding. Actors play non-player characters who inhabit the fictional world, to spark interaction and facilitate the flow of the story.

Actors will be required to perform four times on show day and to attend up to four rehearsals. They should be comfortable with improvisation and co-storytelling with players.

Professor Premchand

- Male

- Age: 30s - 60s

- Any ethnicity

- The eccentric head of the secretive agency has lived through multiple timelines, calibrating dark periods of history to shape the present.

Boon How

- Male

- Age: 20s - 30s

- Chinese

- Boon How is a Chinese teacher at Tao Nan school in 1942. Originally from Nanking, he has fierce anti-Japanese sentiments and participates in fund-raising to resist Japanese aggression at home and in the Straits Settlements.

(Mdm) Jacqueline Loh

- Female

- Age: 50s - 60s

- Chinese

- A textile merchant by trade, Jacqueline is a furious mother who discovers that her daughter tries to secretly marry her no-good sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, the eve of Singapore’s surrender.

Father William De Silva

- Male

- Age: 30s - 40s

- Eurasian or Caucasian

- Father De Silva is Catholic priest who tries to officiate a marriage between two souls in love only to be caught in the battle of social classes and geo-national loyalties.
