Casting Call for Singapore IMDA-funded Short Film

Project brief:

Split Second Studio is producing a 3-5 mins sci-fi short film as part of a Virtual Production grant sponsored by IMDA/Epic Games. This would be one of the very first sci-fi films to be written and shot in Singapore using Virtual Production.

Role 1:

A director who''s in charge at a chaotic military bunker. He''s a fit older man who carries a wealth of experience and battle experience on his face. Someone who is unbothered by chaos and destruction, doesn’t speak more than he needs to, and has glint of eccentricity.

Requirements:

1. 35 (looks older) - 55 years old

2. Anglicised/International accent

3. Smokes/has a light smokers'' voice

Role 2:

The Private is an intelligence analyst in the team/company of the military unit in the story. He plays a pivotal role in letting the audience experience the situation from his POV, as he is on his quest to make a significant contribution. He should be most easy to understand character, so that the audience can then see the story and other character from his POV.

It''ll be a 1-day shoot, with a couple of readings beforehand. We''re looking to cast ASAP as we intend to film in 2nd/3rd week of July as per the grant requirements.
