Comedians for Impersonation Project

Project Type: Upcoming Impersonation Project

Profile #1:

- Male

- Any Race

- Age: Late 30s - 60s years old

- 175cm and above. Generally slender/ on the skinny side

- Talents are required to study and analyse the 2 late local comedians who were very popular back in the 60s and 70s video clip (total 15 minutes duration). Which will be provided after shortlisting.

- Re-enact the scenes, memorise their dialogue (script will be provided) and their mannerism as close as possible.

- Able to act and perform alongside with another talent. Must have rapport

- Must be fluent in Mandarin and English as well as dialect in Teochew/Hokkien/Cantonese.

- Preferably have an acting, on stage or theatrical experience. Impersonation skills will be good.

Profile #2:

- Male

- Any Race

- Age: Late 30s - 60s years old

- 170cm and below. Generally chubby

- Talents are required to study and analyse the 2 late local comedians who were very popular back in the 60s and 70s video clip (total 15 minutes duration). Which will be provided after shortlisting.

- Re-enact the scenes, memorise their dialogue (script will be provided) and their mannerism as close as possible.

- Able to act and perform alongside with another talent. Must have rapport

- Preferably have an acting, on stage or theatrical experience. Impersonation skills will be good.

* We will be using state of the art technology – motion capture to record talent’s body movement and facial expression. Thus, talents will be required to wear motion tracking suit and other electronic devices during the recording session.

*Note that for the final product, we won’t be using talent’s[1] face and voice as it will be replaced with the late local comedian digital clones.

- Audition Timing: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

- Rehearsals Dates and Duration: 3 rehearsals (approx. 2 hours each session) Flexible time and dates between 13 to 30 November 2023.

- Shoot Date: December 4th and 5th, 2023.
