Charlene Meng is a multi-platform performing artiste trained by some of the industry's most prolific names. Her versatility ranges from landing a supporting role in the Taiwanese drama "Raindew Waltz" to playing the lead in the short film "Memoria" that was screened in Korea.
She also plays the ever optimistic noodles seller (mian po) in the sitcom "88 kopitiam, now in the 11th season and is still going strong. One of her short film project 'Horror Mission' has even earned her the moniker 'Stellar Meng' from TheMalayMailOnline for her solid performance as a stuttering intern.
As a recognition for her hardwork and dedication, she was awarded the 10th BCAA for Best Actor in a supporting role for the theater musical 'Empress Wu'.
She then took it up another notch and made her first action film debut "Second Life" that was released on YouTube, in which she had to undergo 3 months of intense training doing her own fights and stunts. she also completed a 2 year theatre performance MUD The Story Of Kuala Lumpur as Zhao Xiao Yen, the musical has won 13th BCAA for peoples choice award.
