Hi I am Ariel. I just graduated from secondary school and want to try something that is new and refreshing, something that is out of my comfort zone. I am adventurous and creative, one who is always eager to learn new things and is not afraid of challenges and obstacles that are in front of me. Since young, I have always been interested in acting and I took up acting classes when I was young for 6 years at Mediacorp. A few years back, I auditioned for a role in a chinese drama and participated in theatres, school plays. Through acting, I want to be exposed to different lifestyles and experience different personalities. Therein, immerse myself into different mindsets and bring those perspectives to the audience who can experience vicariously. I have also taken up modelling classes in the past for a year where the lessons help build up my confidence and have faith in myself. I have also learnt dancing (ballet) for 7 years and I believe the experience has shown and allowed me to express myself and my emotions through dancing. It taught me endurance as well, due to long hours of practising. I learnt how to portray myself with poise and confidence to others. These experiences gained have continued to help me realise my potential and allow me to discover and explore many more things that I can do. I hope it will continue to present opportunities for me to learn and grow not only individually but as a team player as well. My interests include playing musical instruments such as piano, cello and guitar. I have been learning piano since the age of 4 and due to my previous cca which was chinese orchestra, I learnt cello as well. I had the privilege to play in the orchestra and represent the school in Singapore Youth Festival for 2 years and was awarded distinction twice. I love to play different kinds of sports for example: frisbee, badminton, tennis etc. In my free time, I like to write my own chinese stories where the sky's the limit for my imagination.
