Who am I? I am confident, charming, friendly and educated, with a hint of craftiness in my eyes. I am either the witty romantic hero, or the villain disguised as a trustworthy friend. I am the Indian combination of Jesse Eisenberg, Christian Bale and Jake Gyllenhaal.
I was born in India but raised in Singapore. I grew up with a plethora of both Hollywood and Bollywood movies, that solidified my global identity. I have lived in and travelled to many countries, including Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Bhutan, England, and of course, America. I am well acquainted with many different cultures and ways of life and consider my craft to be in service of bridging the east and the west. I see myself as someone who’d complete what Irrfan Khan set out to do.
With my sharp features and caramel complexion, I can play Indian, Pakistani, Persian, Afghan and Arab. I can play a wide range of characters with my poised physique, elegant gait and worldly aura: the exotic love interest with my sharp hair, a gentle crooked smile and deep dark brown eyes that speak of an entire foreign world left to be discovered; the high-achieving corporate antagonist with my arrogant raised eyebrows and a condescending smirk that hints at the makings of an unknowable master plan.
I graduated from the University of Southern California with both a BA in Dramatic Arts (Acting) and a BA in Cinema & Media Studies, was named a Renaissance Scholar and awarded the Ruth & Albert McKinlay Award for Best Actor. With my training, work-ethic and sincerity, I hope to champion the cause for authentic and diverse representation on screens worldwide.
