am a passionate and hardworking actor who has experiences in both theatre and television. I love disappearing into a role and seeing the world from another person’s perspective. I believe there is beauty in even the most mundane situations. As someone who often experiences Sonder, the profound realisation that every person leads a life as intricate and complex as their own, I genuinely believe there are no small roles and every character is equally valuable in contributing to the storyline.
From playing a carefree kopitiam auntie to a teenager struggling with her sexuality, I cherish every character i’ve played and carry them with me and it has allowed me to look at the world more curiously and with that much more empathy.
My experiences include acting in several short films directed by film society and being an active member of my university’s drama club. I have been told that I am someone who can adapt very quickly and capture the nuance behind every character’s motivation.
Moreover, I also dabble in scriptwriting and filmmaking to better understand how to visually encapsulate the complexity of a character’s narrative
