am a young Singapore-based actor currently building my portfolio through commercial work, school performances, and independent projects. At fourteen years old, I already have on-camera experience and a growing interest in film, TV, and online content. My acting journey began with school musicals and performance events, where I was part of group dance numbers and ensemble acting segments. These early experiences taught me stage discipline, teamwork, expression, and how to take direction quickly, forming a strong foundation for my future acting work.
My first professional exposure came from being featured in a Samsung commercial, where I gained direct experience working with a full production crew. Through this project, I learned how a professional set operates — from multiple takes to lighting setups, continuity, blocking, and staying focused between shots. Standing in front of the camera in a fast-paced commercial environment helped me build confidence, camera awareness, and the ability to adjust my performance based on the director’s feedback. I have also participated in smaller online and social media video shoots, taking on featured teen roles as well as extra positions. These opportunities allowed me to understand framing, pacing, and the rhythm of on-set work even better.
Beyond screen experience, I’ve been involved in various school performances that included acting, singing, and coordinated dance movements. Working on musicals required memorizing choreography, maintaining formations, and performing live in front of an audience. Through these productions, I developed strong stage presence, voice projection, and emotional expressiveness — skills that transfer well into on-camera acting. I enjoy character work, improvisation, and adjusting my energy depending on the tone of the scene.
I’m athletic, which makes me suitable for roles requiring movement or physical acting. I play football regularly and swim long-distance, which contributes to my stamina and discipline. Being comfortable with physical activity helps me adapt to energetic characters, sporty roles, and scenes that require running, movement, or action under supervision. I also handle direction well and can maintain consistency in repeated takes, which is important for continuity during filming.
I am fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin, allowing me to take on roles in Singapore’s multicultural productions. I am comfortable memorising lines, doing self-tape auditions, and taking feedback to adjust performances. I work well in group settings, but I can also lead scenes when needed. Directors I’ve worked with often note my positive attitude, focus, and ability to stay professional even during long shooting hours.
During school holidays and weekends, I aim to book more acting opportunities to grow my experience, build a stronger showreel, and continue learning different styles of performance. I am committed to improving in every project, and I approach acting with seriousness, passion, and curiosity. With more roles and continued training, I hope to expand my abilities and develop into a versatile actor capable of working in larger regional and international productions.
