Hello! My name is Erica Tan, and I've created this profile with the aim of appearing in films, shows and commercials.
My journey in acting began when I participated in multiple musical theatre productions under Wild Rice during my younger years. This experience ignited my passion for the performing arts, pushing me to further hone my skills. I took an Acting Course with Zoom! Academy, which opened doors for me, landing several roles in Mediacorp productions. Moreover, I am proud to have been part of the Singapore Youth Theatre under Wild Rice, where I had the opportunity to produce and act in a play with 11 talented peers. In addition to these experiences, I also enjoy acting in student films whenever I can.
Apart from acting, I find joy in dancing and singing, making performing arts an integral part of who I am.
One particularly memorable incident in my acting career was during the shooting of a horror student film.
The scene required me to smear black face paint while simultaneously splashing water on my face, all in a single take as the director envisioned. It was a challenging yet exhilarating experience that taught me the importance of timing and focus in front of the camera.
I am always eager to embrace new and exciting experiences in this industry, and I'm looking forward to broadening my horizons by working on diverse projects. Each new role is an opportunity for me to learn and grow, and I'm passionate about bringing stories to life with my performances.
