I’m Milana, 24, and I’m trying to collect as many strange, funny, intense, chaotic little acting experiences as possible before I start theatre school.
I recently got accepted into a BFA Acting program with a tiny intake, around 20 students, after auditions and callbacks. So now I’m here to get on sets, meet creative people, try things, mess up, learn fast, and hopefully be useful in the process.
I’m very observant, sometimes probably too observant. I notice people’s weird pauses, fake smiles, nervous habits, sudden mood changes and the way their face betrays them before they’ve decided what to say. That’s the stuff I love using in acting.
I also do ballet, so I’m interested in movement, posture and the way a character carries themselves. I’m drawn to roles with tension underneath, whether that tension comes out as charm, panic, suspicion, awkwardness, flirtiness or “this girl is absolutely not okay but pretending she is.”
I’m open to film, commercials, student projects, extras work, odd characters, dramatic scenes, funny scenes and anything that lets me learn by actually doing.
Special skills: ballet, improvisation, fast emotional shifts, expressive reactions, movement-based work, customer service/hospitality experience, and looking calm in chaotic environments when I am absolutely not.
